Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]Ovaj gen kodira protein cinkovog prsta iz porodice Krüppel. Protein sadrži SCAN kutiju i domen KRAB. Sličan protein kod miševa različito se eksprimira u spermatogenezi. Opisane su dvije varijante transkripta alternativne prerade koje se razlikuju samo u pet osnovnih neprevedenih regija (5' UTR). Pronađene su dodatne varijante, ali pune dužine njihove sekvence u nisu utvrđene.[6]
