English: Keyhole blockers are mainly made to block the keyholes of a warded lock mechnisms. It prevents access with angled nails. Several types are available, especially for
- mortice locks (Commonwealth, approximately 5 mm collared shanks)
- cabinet and drawer locks with guiding pins or without
- door locks for keys using 6 or 7 mm shanks
Due to the small compact size they are also used as an insert lock for
- showcases (sliding glass door lock)
- clevis that lock on ball hitchs (hitch lock)
- chastity belts and chastity devices
