Monique Ganderton (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2), Jessica Sipos (Ascension), Elizabeth Whitmere (Clown), Sunita Prasad (The Day the Earth Stood Still) and Karissa Tynes (Jennifer’s Body) have signed on for Season 2 of Lifetime’s scripted hit UnReal.
Created by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, UnReal gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the chaos surrounding the production of a fictitious dating competition program, Everlasting.
Ganderton will play Brandi, a shy girl who managed to escape a traumatic past and is now a competitive MMA fighter looking for love on Everlasting. Sipos is Hayley, a stunning physical therapist who is sexually adventurous, loves yoga and considers herself a healer. Whitmere is Dominique, a professional basketball player and a real contender for this year’s Suitor since she shares the goals and struggles of being a pro athlete. Prasad will play London, an engineer by day with a conservative air, she is a gorgeous woman who comes on the show as a means of exploring her wilder side. Tynes will play Jameson, an attractive cop who loves her job but feels she is missing love in her life and finds a spark with the Suitor.
Starring Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer, UnReal made the AFI’s list of the 10 best shows of 2015, and Zimmer recently snared a best supporting actress Critics’ Choice Award for her role.
Ganderton, repped by The Characters, next will be seen in X-Men Apocalypse. Sipos and Whitmere are repped by Ambition Talent. Prasad is repped by Lauren Levitt and Associates. Tynes is repped by Principal Talent.
