Julia Fox Jokes About Masturbation In NSFW Interview On ‘Today With Hoda & Jenna’: “My Hand Is Tired”

Actress Julia Fox recently dished on her choice to stay celibate and abstain from dating during a recent appearance on Today With Hoda & Jenna. But, in true Fox fashion, the interview took an NSFW turn after she made a naughty joke about masturbation on daytime television.

Jenna Bush Hager raised the topic near the end of their interview with Fox, who was visiting Today to promote her new show OMG Fashun. “

You’ve actually given up on men for a bit, besides your little man,” Bush Hager pointed out, referring to Fox’s three-year-old son.

“Yeah, I have two-and-a-half years and no action,” Fox replied. She then admitted that she didn’t know how else to say it on broadcast television without saying “sex.”

Fox’s answer caused both Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb to laugh, however. “Action’s the right way to say it,” Bush Hager said through her laughter, as Kotb warned Fox, “Don’t say the word!”

Bush Hager then asked Fox how she’s faring.

“Well, my hand’s tired,” Fox replied. “No, I’m kidding, I don’t do that.”

She continued, “It’s actually been so amazing. I feel like ever since I’ve de-centered men and put me in the center, my life has just taken off exponentially. The proof is in the pudding. I always recommend to women, you don’t have to say banishment forever but learn who you are, be comfortable being alone. That was a huge struggle for me.”

In the past, the Uncut Gems actress has been linked to Kanye West and Drake. She also shares a son with her ex-husband, pilot Peter Artemiev, whom she separated from in 2020.

“I always really, really struggled with being alone,” she confessed to Kotb and Bush Hager. “I would hang out with horrible people I didn’t really like because I didn’t want to be alone.”

Fox has been open about her dating troubles. The actress once told Drew Barrymore that she ended her brief fling with West when it “just became too much.”

“I didn’t sign up to have two babies — I couldn’t do it. It felt like two babies,” she told Barrymore.

She admitted that she has since “sworn off men.”

Today with Hoda and Jenna airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
