Hi there. I wanted to explain why I reverted a recent edit of yours. Per [[MOS:NICKNAME]], we generally don't include unnecessary nicknames in the opening sentence. If someone is well-known as "Bill", for example, we don't have to alert users to the fact that this is short for "William". It's pretty obvious to anyone familiar with English naming customs. The [[WP:ARBCOM|Arbitration Committee]] is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the [[Wikipedia:Arbitration|Wikipedia arbitration process]]. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose [[WP:BAN|site bans]], [[WP:TBAN|topic bans]], editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
