LandSpace is a Chinese private space launch company. It was founded by Tsinghua University and, in 2017, became the first private Chinese spacelaunch company to sign a launch contract with a foreign customer.[1] LandSpace became the first private Chinese commercial rocketeer to obtain a contract from a foreign company, in January 2017, when it formed a partnership with the Danish firm Gomspace.[2]

Marketplace

LandSpace is one of several Chinese solid rocket startups in competition, others being OneSpace, Linkspace, ExPace.[3]

LandSpace obtained the first private commercial launch contract for a foreign customer in January 2017, to launch Danish firm Gomspace's satellites on a LandSpace-1 rocket in 2018.[2]
