Artyom Yenin

Artyom Valeryevich Yenin (Russian: Артём Валерьевич Енин; 6 August 1976 – 8 October 2024) was a Russian association football player.

In this name that follows Eastern Slavic naming customs, the patronymic is Valeryevich and the family name is Yenin.

Career

Yenin played his only international game for Russia on 23 September 1998 in a friendly against Spain. He was a player in the PFC CSKA Moscow team that were runners-up in the 1999–2000 Russian Cup.

Personal life and death

His son, Yegor, is also a footballer, and was included on the roster of FC Shinnik Yaroslavl for the 2018–19 season.

Yenin died on 8 October 2024, at the age of 48.
