The Koshibito (in Japanese, variously: 高志こうしじん, 古志こしじん or 越人えつじん, all pronounced identically) were a people of ancient Japan,[1] believed to have lived on the southern portion of the shore of the Sea of Japan[2] in the ancient province of Koshi during the Jōmon period.

The possible area were the Koshibito tribes lived.
