Wrong information is always better than no information ('cos with brains and a small amount of diligence you can most often still get the truth)

  • My personal comment on Jimmy Wales: I can NOT emphasize this enough. There seems to be a terrible bias among some wikipedia editors or users to believe whatever they read anywhere, be it sourced or not. I think a fair number of those people need to be kicked in their ass and at the same time being told that this is some new kind of massage helping them to improve their general mental state, especially training their abilty of reading information always critically by using their own brains before they take it for granted. It is recommended to hand over a written document saying the same thing along with the kick because written information seems to be more trustworthy to them. --HV (talk) 12:58, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

(I sometimes forget to understand that this guy comes from the only country in the world where people need to be told that hot water is hot...)
