salve, come posso creare una biografia personale? --Mattia Count (talk) 12:45, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mattia Count I don't speak Italian and I don't know the rules/procedures of the Italian Wikipedia. If you're talking about an autobiography, I imagine those are discouraged at the Italian Wikipedia as well, though. Calliopejen1 (talk) 19:36, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from CCHSFl (20:58, 8 July 2024)

edit

Hello, The Clay County Historical Society Museum is located in the old courthouse annex, not in the train station. This should be corrected. --CCHSFl (talk) 20:58, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from LaniListens (20:03, 9 July 2024)

edit

Hi! I want to create a page on Yohanna Katanacho. He is an extremely accomplished Palestinian theologian, author, and speaker. He is currently the Dean of Bethlehem Bible College in Palestine, and he leads many humanitarian efforts. --LaniListens (talk) 20:03, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi LaniListens, I recommend reading WP:Your first article for more info about writing your first article. Also, the biggest issue for biographies is always whether the person is notable enough for an article. Please have a look at WP:BIO to assess. I see one good source in Google Books: [1]. I'm not sure whether there are other good sources available (e.g. newspaper articles about Katanacho). Calliopejen1 (talk) 23:28, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Insomniacturtle (03:02, 15 July 2024)

edit

I'm currently studying Albanian history and saw it noted on Enver Hoxha's page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enver_Hoxha) that Albania was the "first nation with complete electrification in the world." I checked the source for this comment listed as The History of Albania : From its Origins to the Present Day by Pollo, Stefanaq, and found the discussion in this book on page 280 (https://archive.org/details/historyofalbania0000poll/page/280/mode/2up). However, in the paragraph discussing this, it makes no mention of Albania being the first nation with complete electrification, only that Albania finished the project quickly and before schedule in 1970. Is this why it's noted on the original page that [better source needed]? --Insomniacturtle (talk) 03:02, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Insomniacturtle, I just went ahead and deleted that statement from the article because it's unsupported and I could not find an adequate alternative source with a quick check. (To the contrary, I found one article saying that the US was the first country with complete electrification.) Next time you find something like this, I encourage you to be bold and fix it! :) Calliopejen1 (talk) 23:02, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
