edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Battle of Augusta (1943) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Battle of Augusta (1943). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and there's no content besides an infobox. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:42, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Second Italian spring offensive

edit

The article Second Italian spring offensive has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The term is complete WP:OR; the offensive described here is part of the German invasion of Greece, so much so that the Italians advanced because the Greeks retreated due to the Germans threatening their flanks.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Done. I already cited the sources. Tell me if there's another problem . Ciao!! Jheeeeeeteegh (talk) 08:12, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
There are a number of problems: a) the quality of English prose, please spend more time copyediting it. b) you have quite clearly used Carrier's work as your only source, but don't reference it, instead copying his own references verbatim (e.g. 'Ibid pp. 742-743'). This is a violation of WP:CITE and WP:VERIFY as you have not actually consulted these sources in person. It is also a violation of WP:PLAGIARISM as it copies text and references almost verbatim from a source without acknowledging it. c) the article title is highly problematic; it is not an offensive if you start following a retreating enemy after he has started withdrawing due to the actions of your ally. We could equally well call it 'Greek retreat from Albania'. We need a more neutral title. Constantine 09:23, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Alright. I will edit that later. But I got another things to do which is there's currently an edit wars going on to a other page which needs be taken care of. Ciao!! Jheeeeeeteegh (talk) 09:31, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

You seem to know lots of events, data, names etc on the military history of WWII and of Italy, can you do the section on WWII in the military history of Italy page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E11:17:40B0:CC23:1602:D8F5:7A53 (talk) 06:34, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Done. Ciao!! Jheeeeeeteegh (talk) 08:30, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Jheeeeeeteegh, in my opinion Greek occupation of south(ern) Albania should be removed from the infobox as it is an intermediate result, but if it is to be included then it should be said when it started ("until April 1941", but from when?) and the previous Italian occupation of Epirus mentioned as well. It almost seems that the campaign began with Greece occupying south Albania the way it's presented now. Thanks. 2A01:E11:17:40B0:F028:E27D:CEE9:4346 (talk) 04:53, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
