Adoption request
editHi there Slimhandy, thanks for your adoption request. I would be more than happy to adopt you, though there are a few things you will need to know before hand. Firstly, adoption isn't a quick process and can take a few months; I will do my utmost to help you learn and get to know how things work, but I will expect commitment on your part. Secondly, you will be the first person I have formally adopted, so I will make no claims to be perfect - if that is a problem, then let me know. I will always answer any questions you have, either personally or pointing you towards the right people/place, as soon as I can. I'll follow how you're getting on and, when we both feel that you're ready, you will graduate from the programme. Is that all ok? If you're happy with that, let me know, and I'll take you on.
I would also like to invite you to the Wikipedia Teahouse, where I am a host. It is a friendly place for new users to introduce themselves, meet other editors and ask any questions they have. The Teahouse should give extra help and support, on top of our adoption.
It's great to see a new editor here willing to learn, best of luck.

Your userpage & some questions
editHi there, Slimshady. I have removed the name of the school you go to from your userpage for you; it is strongly recommended that you avoid posting personal information like that, as it is visible to a lot of people. The information will still be visible in your userpage's history, so I suggest you ask any administrator to delete the old versions for you, to completely hide it.
Also, it seems that you missed the message I left on my talk page for you. I was just hoping you could answer a few questions for me:
- What interests do you have outside of Wikipedia that you have knowledge about?
- What other experience have you had online?
- How involved would you like to be in community discussions?
Thanks. ItsZippy (talk • contributions) 16:53, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:10, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Sorry thanks for the advice
License tagging for File:Eminem performing live on a tour in 2011.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Eminem performing live on a tour in 2011.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:10, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
This file
editHi Slimhady. I have nominated that file for speedy deletion because it is a duplicate of File:Eminem performing in 2011.jpg. As you said that you found the image on Wikipedia, you do not need to upload the file again. If you want to use it, just type [[File:Eminem performing in 2011.jpg|thumb]], as I did in this section. Hope that makes sense. ItsZippy (talk • contributions) 19:03, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Sorry but ok

If there's anything you need, please let me know. I see you've not spent much time editing articles - is there anything in this area I can help you with?
