Proper nouns versus common nouns

[edit source]

Hello Jellysandwich0,

Thanks for catching the spelling error; separate vs. seperate. In the footnotes on the same page, "Texts" is the name of a specific module. "texts" has a more general meaning. Similarly "Writer" is a specific TYPE in Oberon whereas "writer" is more general. To my understanding "Texts" and "Writer" are proper nouns and should be capitalized. Is there another grammatical interpretation? Thanks, ... PeterEasthope (discusscontribs) 19:02, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Personalising text

[edit source]

Hi Jellysandwich0,

Thank you for picking up some of my spellling mistakes, I also note that you changed the personalised form of the page to a more formal versionː

You can assume that the first bit should be 1

It can be assumed that the first bit should be 1

Can you explain your reasoning for this? Pluke (discusscontribs) 09:54, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
