Every year in monsoon season due to heavy rain in western ghats (Chickmagalur Region) the [[Bhadra Dam]] will reach to its peak, results in release of water from the [[dam]]. This causes the flood in the region of Bhadravathi City, New Bridge of Bhadravathi will always be immersed by this outflow of river bhadra, and the scenic beauty of watching bhadra will be pleasant full experience for eyes.
