Rename to Kiritapu Allan?

I'm sure her friends call her Kiri but it's still a nickname, and more often than not her full name is used in media. I don't think it reaches the "Bill Clinton" threshold. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 01:52, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... "Kiri" is used on all of her social media (fb, twitter, electorate twitter) and her Labour Party profile (https://www.labour.org.nz/kiriallan). But "Kiritapu" appears on her beehive profile (https://www.beehive.govt.nz/minister/hon-kiritapu-allan). My impression is that "Kiri" is more common in news, but since you've come to the opposite conclusion, perhaps we need to quantify that? Furius (talk) 06:46, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also not convinced. I see her being referred to as "Kiri" much more regularly than her full name. Schwede66 04:38, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
