Yogesh Kumar Tyagi is an Indian academic. He is the 22nd Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi.[1][2] He was the former Dean of the Faculty of Legal Studies, at South Asian University and is credited with the establishment of an excellent department for International Law. He has published a famous work on the UN Human Rights Committee(Cambridge University Press). He has published extensively in International journals.

Career[edit]

He is a former Professor of International Law at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is also a Member of the l’Institut de Droit International. He has also served as a Member, of the Law Commission of India. He served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi from 10 March 2016 to 9 March 2021.
