Congratulations on your election, and may you serve Wikipedia better than you have ever done. Thanks fo rnotifying me about [[User:Sir James]], but the problem is now solved (see my talk page), please unblock the account. Rest assured that I am not my younger cousin masquerading as me. I've changed my password (it's "finch" - joke) since the last break-in and berated him. [[User:JMBell|{{User:JMBell/sig}}]] 17:05, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

Grace, Light, and Peace

From the One Who was, Who Is, and Who Is to Come:

Grace, Light, and Peace be with you all.

Please feel free to leave me a message. I will generally respond on your talk page rather than here, however, I keep talk pages I edit on my watchlist for around a week, so if you prefer, we can continue a discussion there.

I appreciate hearing from individuals who have found mistakes (spelling, etc.) in my posts; these turn up all to often, as I tend to type very fast and not catch spelling mistakes my edits. If you find an error, you may get an indulgence. (WikiSins only!)

As a theology professor and scholar of Roman Catholicism, I am happy to answer questions about the Church. Be warned that my answers to questions about the Church always reflect the Church's official position, but are often long!

It's important to remember: I'm not a Catholic, I'm a scholar of Catholicism.

User:Essjay/Status I am an Administrator; if you need my help, please leave a message. Please note the indicator to the side; if you see a red stoplight and "I'm out", then I am not currently online; if you leave a message, your request will not be answered until I return. Before leaving me a request, please read my administrator action policy. If you are requesting an action regarding a specific user, please use the {{user|Username}} template.

I appreciate all the congratulatory messages I've been receiving on my RfA; thank you all.
However, I hate the "orange bar of death" with a passion, so I've created a subpage here.
If you'd like to leave messages (and I really do appreciate them) please do it there. Thanks!

He left the same threat on my user talk page. Both accounts are now blocked indefinitely and a statement deposited on the user and talk pages of both accounts. Kelly Martin 14:33, July 20, 2005 (UTC)

There is no hope

In your mission, you have disregarded a basic feature of humanity—they don't read the instructions. No matter how hard you try ([1], [2], [3]), people will never learn ([4], [5], [6]). Your faith in humanity is uplifting. smoddy 17:46, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - Ron Stoppable

Thanks for the pointers. It takes me a while to get used to new systems, especially since I've been on and still use phpBB forums for the past three years or so. I'm accustomed to seeing the system keep track of who typed what and when it was typed. So, do I go like this? Ron Stoppable 04:48, July 21, 2005 (UTC)

I wonder what was going on with my page, since I haven't been online since Sunday. Was somebody causing some trouble?

I reverted your edit to the RC section of this article, since it is NOT about vestments, but the clothing worn by clergy outside of services. Perhaps you would be so kind as to fill in the RC section (and any other with which you are familiar) with info about clergy shirt, cassock, etc usage. Thanks. I'm a complete moron! I'll put it back on the to do list. -- Essjay · Talk

JMBell

Thanks for your assistance. It looks like JMBell's taken things at hand, and as long as people are keeping an eye out on both accounts, we'll be able to minimise the damage (well, you folks will, I'll just report the vandalism if it happens). --Deathphoenix 17:03, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
