Chart Hills Golf Club is a private golf club in Biddenden, Kent in England.
It is owned by Leaderboard Golf along with 4 other golfing venues in the South East including The Oxfordshire Golf Club near Oxford, Sandford Springs Golf Club near Basingstoke and Newbury, Dale Hill Golf Club in Wadhurst East Sussex and The Leaderboard Golf Centre in Reading.[citation needed]
History
After Paul Gibbons sold his business interests, he created the Leaderboard brand and negotiated the purchase of Chart Hills Golf Club. [1]
The golf course at Chart Hills was designed by English golf player Nick Faldo and Steve Smyers.[2]
As with other Leaderboard owned courses, Chart Hills regularly plays host to high profile golfing events. It is a European Tour Qualifying School venue and has hosted the Ladies European tour Event, The Ladies English Open.[3]
Chart Hills is considered to be 33rd in England on the ‘top 100 golf courses’ ranking website. [2]
