I have been finding some key facts regarding EOJBHL during my research and have been keeping tabs on everything I come across. I will keep an eye out for any end of season stats that I can find. I have stumbled on some facts which seem to contradict things on Wikipedia regarding CCHL teams, for example; the Pembroke Lumber Kings had their franchise revoked prior to the 1979-80 season (this was because of an outstanding debt with the City of Pembroke regarding unpaid use of ice time). A group in Pembroke put together another team at the last minute (Pembroke Royals) for that season and they were admitted. The league told the Lumber Kings they would have to re-apply for a franchise to get back in the league. So in essence they are not the longest continually running franchise in the CCHL because of that one hiccup. It is very well documented in The Ottawa Journal & The Ottawa Citizen but will probably cause an uproar when the history gets updated. Anyways, I don't plan on updating little pieces here and there I am reading up on over 100 years of sports articles and anything found gets added.

:Since I created this account for the sole purpose of updating our team page, and am now working on all these leagues, I opted to create an account that better represented myself. So I will start using that one instead. I added my name to the Ice hockey wiki group and made a user page. I'll work on Hockey Eastern Ontario and the leagues that fall under it's jurisdiction. I looked around and there is a lot of updating that needs to be done (stats look great though).

I found a lot of the teams have outdated logos. What is the best way to have those changed?

Rangers

All the power to you... I've built a lot of the framework for these articles... including cultivating a lot of the stats (as they were not made available to the public)... build it up as much as you wish... source it... make it an awesome article! I am just providing a little oversight... making sure everything makes sense and is in context... I have enough trouble doing this myself for the OJHL, SIJHL, NOJHL, CCHL, and GOJHL... and my EOJHL stuff is terrible... any help you can provide is great... if you want to work on other CCHL or EOJHL articles... be my guest! Thanks Devon, I noticed the amount of work you did with all the different leagues and keeping up with stats, you are doing tremendous work on here, I will be doing my best to try and keep everything nice and organized. I visited several other hockey team pages in different leagues to see what they offered on their pages so I could try and set a framework for the page itself. Now I kind of wish I spoke with you sooner, you would not believe the amount of articles I read regarding Junior "A" and "B" hockey in the Ottawa and surrounding areas (CCHL & EOJHL predecessors). Nothing I couldn't go back and find though. I'll just start by finishing this one. Your input is invaluable to the success of the work I am doing here. I will start saving links to information I find on CCHL & EOJHL articles now for future references. Thanks again for your help.Rangersjra (talk) 19:54, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks... I appreciate that... I would like to point you towards where I do the bulk of my Jr. A research... you may find the odd useful thing here... http://icehockey.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Canadian_Junior_A_Seasons DMighton (talk) 22:21, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link I'm sure there will be something I can use there. Rangersjra (talk) 00:18, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Gloucester Rangers Star Rangers.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gloucester Rangers Star Rangers.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

Fixed your fairuse rationale... this is a copyright battle that has been going on for years... you need to use a specific template and boilerplate when you upload any logo or they will delete on you. It is simple once you know how to do it.. but they never make it easy on you here. DMighton (talk) 01:04, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great Thanks for the help with that, much appreciated. I decided to restart my research from scratch (I wasn't too far into it) and started taking notes on all CCHL and EOJHL as you suggested. I got access to The Ottawa Journal's archives that date back to 1893 so I'll jot down everything hockey related. So might be awhile updating the Juniors pages. I did update the Earl Armstrong Arena page and added a citation on the TD Garden Arena page, might want to look at it in case I messed up something there. Thanks again for the helping hand. NP.... ya know... we have very few EOJHL standings prior to 1999... and same with the EOJCHL... if you can find any old standings... you'd be doing a great service... http://icehockey.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_EOJHL_Seasons & http://icehockey.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_EOJCHL_Seasons ... there is so little info out there and since Harper slashed interlibrary loan.... I can't do it... we are also missing a lot of playoff brackets and results. If you are interested... you could do a lot for these three modern ODHA leagues.
