Pesaro (in Antiquity, Pisaurum) is a town and comune (township) in the Italian region of the Marche, capital of the Pesaro e Urbino province, 43°55N 12°55E; at sea-level since it lies on the Adriatic. According to the 2003 census, its population was 91,400.
