Hygrocybe citrinovirens is a European mushroom of the waxcap genus Hygrocybe. It was first described scientifically in 1923 by Danish mycologist Jakob Emanuel Lange as Camarophyllus citrinovirens.[1] Julius Schäffer transferred it to the genus Hygrocybe in 1947.[2]
