One time a couple of my friends thought it would be really funny if they made a wikipedia page about me. It was swiftly nominated for deletion, since I'm nobody, of course, and then I got a whole slew of hate mail from people who take wikipedia pages very, very seriously. That wasn't the creepy part. The creepy part was when someone I DIDN'T know started editing the entry and adding lots of (completely accurate) biographical details about me. |

Taking into account Wikipedia's [[Wikipedia:Plain_and_simple_conflict_of_interest_guide|Conflict of Interest guidelines]], it's important to note that I am currently employed as the Digital Content Manager at Lindblad Expeditions and will occasionally propose changes or corrections to pages affiliated with my employers. However, in the interest of maintaining Wikipedia's missions of [[Wikipedia:Neutrality of sources|neutrality]] and [[Wikipedia:Verifiability|verifiability]], I will never directly edit a live page associated with my employer. |

I still feel guilty that the whole thing happened, so as penance I fix grammatical errors and correct vandalism whenever I see them. |

Taking into account Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest guidelines, it's important to note that I am currently employed as the Digital Content Manager at Lindblad Expeditions and will occasionally propose changes or corrections to pages affiliated with my employers. However, in the interest of maintaining Wikipedia's missions of neutrality and verifiability, I will never directly edit a live page associated with my employer.
