The University of London Press (also known as UoL Press) is a university press that is part of the University of London. Based in the School of Advanced Study, it "seeks to facilitate collaborative, inclusive, open access, scholar-led interchange, within and beyond the academy." [1]
History
The University of London Press was originally established in 1910. From 1949 to 1979 it was known as Athlone Press.
In 2019, the University of London Press was relaunched as a fully open access publisher specializing in "distinctive scholarship at the forefront of the Humanities." [2]
