Sundown is a 2021 drama film, written and directed by Michel Franco and art directed by Georgina Coca. It stars Tim Roth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Iazua Larios, Henry Goodman, Albertine Kotting McMillan and Samuel Bottomley.

It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 5 September 2021.

Plot

A wealthy man attempts to abandon his family on vacation.

In May 2021, it was announced Tim Roth and Charlotte Gainsbourg had joined the cast of the film, with Michel Franco directing from a screenplay he wrote, with the film having been shot in secret.[2]

Release

It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 5 September 2021.[3] It is also scheduled to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2021.[4][5]
