Electric motor power[edit]

The infobox says that the main motors were capable of producing 12000HP. This seems rather high :-) I have found a link http://britsub.x10.mx/html/boats/porpoise_class/porpoise_class.html that lists the power as 5000HP, which seems more reasonable. I'm looking for a definitive source (perhaps a suitably old Jane's Fighting Ships). Fido frog (talk) 04:17, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
