I guess the proposed deletion is some sort of automatic thing, on account of me not putting a source for what I said, or something. I just thought I would start the subject by putting up what I thought used to be called a stub, and I and others could build on it. I had no idea automatic stuff would pounce on me, and I don't know how to stop something that is a fact being deleted just because I have not put a reference to a book, and I have great fears about quoting the main and most sensible book on the subject, because the author of the book was not what anyone would call reliable. So, poo! Elias Petropoulos was the author of Rebetika, and other fine books. Was he reliable? Does it matter? Hasiklidika are what I say they are, and I know a lot of Greeks who will tell you so.

Now, who proposed to delete this? A person or a machine? We need to know. The Real Walrus (talk) 21:54, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
