Halifax radio station CHFX (Country 101) broadcasts from 101.9 on the FM dial; its format has been country & western for many years. Sister station is Oldies 96 (CHNS 960 AM), shares staff and on-air personalities with Country 101. The two stations are housed at 5121 Sackville St. in Halifax, overlooking the Halifax Harbour, and are owned by Maritime Broadcasting.
