Geoffrey Goodman (born 1921, Stockport, Cheshire, now Greater Manchester) is a British journalist.

An RAF pilot during his war service, Goodman studied at the London School of Economics under Harold Laski.[1] After working on the Daily Herald and Manchester Guardian, amongst other newspapers, he joined the Daily Mirror in 1969, retiring in 1986. For a brief period (July 1975-August 1976) he headed a counter-inflationary unit for the Labour government. He is the founding editor of the British Journalism Review.
