Wormerveer (52°29′N 4°47′E / 52.483°N 4.783°E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zaanstad, and lies about 13 km northwest of Amsterdam.
Wormerveer has a population of around 10420.[1]
Wormerveer was a separate municipality until 1974, when it became a part of the new municipality of Zaanstad.[2]
