Ted Alflen (born January 3, 1947 in Dunsmuir, California died September 15, 1978[1]) was an American college and professional football player. A defensive back and halfback, he played college football at Springfield College, and played professionally in the American Football League for the Denver Broncos in 1969. Held Springfield College's record for most points scored in a game (which was 36 by Ted Alflen) vs. Tufts in 1968... Until 2006, (a 38-year old record).
