Katrina Law is an American actress of German, Italian, and Taiwanese descent originally from New Jersey, USA. She represented New Jersey in the Miss Teen USA Pageant.[2] Katrina is also the lead singer and bass player in her band "Soundboard Fiction". She has played the role of Mira (a slave in the house of Batiatus) in the Starz television series, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and Spartacus: Vengeance.

Law worked alongside director Adrian Picardi with producers Eric Ro and Don Le, to create a low budget web series called "The Resistance".[3] Picardi was the series' official creator and director.

In 2011, Law completed an action-oriented project called "3 Minutes" with director Ross Ching, producers Don Le and George Wang, starring Harry Shum, Jr., Stephen "tWitch" Boss (the runner up on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (season 4), and herself in a thrilling but pivotal role.[4][5] "3 Minutes" has received nationwide coverage from the official Star Wars site,[6] Wired.com,[7] and Gizmodo,[8] as well as the New York Post,[9] Seventeen Magazine,[10] Audrey Magazine,[4][5][11] and Hyphen Magazine.[12] It was also won the coveted slot of Vimeo's Staff Pick of the Day on its debut day, netting well over 60,000 views on the site within the first 24 hours.[13] As of January 2012, the short film has been viewed by well over 700,000 people on both Youtube and Vimeo.

Career

After graduating with a Theater degree from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Katrina's acting education continued on in the big cities of Philadelphia and New York. There she not only deepened her understanding of acting as an art form, but she also sharpened her teeth on the business of acting. In New York City, she earned her S.A.G. eligibility on the set of Numbers with Nora Ephron and John Travolta and finally joined S.A.G. when she booked a Guest Star on NY's "Third Watch". Since then she has gone on to act in many exciting projects including a three episode arc as the Mord'Sith "Garen" in Legend of the Seeker and as the series regular "Mira" in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand and again in Spartacus: Vengeance.[14]
