Sigurd Lunde in 1967

Sigurd Lunde (1916 – 2006) was a Norwegian bishop.

He worked for the Norwegian Missionary Society from 1942, and edited Norsk misjonstidende from 1946 and worked in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1952. He was a teacher in the University of Oslo's practical-theological seminary from 1957 to 1967. He was appointed as a curate in Ullern in 1966, was promoted to vicar in 1971 and was bishop of the Diocese of Stavanger from 1977 to his retirement in 1986.[1]

Lunde was also a psalm writer.[1] He was the father of news anchor Einar Lunde.
