Thimmasamudram is located between Vetapalem and Inkollu in Prakasam district (formerly known as Ongole district) Andhra Pradesh, India. Thimmasamudram is the birthplace of MP Dr. Kambampati Hari Babu, Former MLA Karanam Balaram Krishna Murthy and Bachina Chenchu Garataiah and MPTC Muddana Anjamma (tdp), and President Karanam Ramesh Babu.

Educational institutions like Mangamma College, Ongole, Gorantla Venkanna Sanskrit College, Goranta Venkanna Ayurvedic Hospital, Gorantla Venkanna Comity High School, and Chirala Engineering College were also established by people from Thimmasamudram.

It is known for paddy production. Kommamuru canal passes through Thimmasamudram and supplies water for Paddy.
