The 2020 Kyrgyzstan protests began on Monday, October 5, 2020, gathering 5,000 people in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, against the result of a parliamentary election.[1] Protesters have allegedly attacked police officers with rocks and injured two of them.[2] Kyrgyz police have used deterrents such as teargas and water cannons to disperse large crowds.[3]
