  • Comment Bruce was previously recorded in the article as being a Royal Navy commodore. This seems to be a result of confusion over the shortened rank "Comm." which in this case referred to commander, Bruce's rank upon retirement. As such it's very unlikely that his military career will provide any notability. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 20:53, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
