1787 Virginia gubernatorial election

The 1787 Virginia gubernatorial election was held on 30 November 1787 in order to elect the Governor of Virginia. Incumbent Governor of Virginia Edmund Randolph won re-election in the Virginia General Assembly as he ran unopposed.

General election

On election day, 30 November 1787, Edmund Randolph easily won re-election as he ran unopposed. Randolph was sworn in for his second term on 1 December 1787.^[1]
