Ahead of the season, manager Marc Skinner signed a one-year contract extension.[1]

These will include the first match of the season against West Ham United on the weekend of 21/22 September 2024, against WSL debutants Crystal Palace on the weekend of 15/16 February 2025, and the team's final home game of the season against Manchester City on the weekend of 3/4 May 2025, marking the second consecutive season United has hosted the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.[2]

Pre-season and friendlies

[edit]

Amid disruptions caused by ongoing redevelopment work to the men's first team facilities at United's Carrington training base,[3] the club confirmed United Women would spend multiple weeks of pre-season based at St George's Park in Burton upon Trent. In September, the team will spend a week at the Marbella Football Center in Spain.[4] The pre-season fixtures were announced on 31 July 2024.[5]
