Style Improvements

[edit]

I think this article has some problems with natural language and style. I'm trying to fix it up a bit, but I've recently had a few of my changes reverted, while editing as 20.3.6.69.2.

I didn't add descriptions to those changes which is my bad, but I don't think any needed to reverted. I'll be continuing to make fixes, including redoing the reverts, with more description of my intent, so please reach out to me before reverting the changes again.

Thanks, BardDrive (talk) 12:30, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Do you know about crowdfunding from last year and did you have Ci-en account to support it? And this one is private for backers and I did support from last year.--ObiWanSkywalker86 (talk) 16:39, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can't use secret information as the basis of an article. If a reputable source reported on the information you could cite that, but I just think the paragraph reads worse because of the inclusion.
In any case, that's the only factual change I made. The rest are all readability improvements. "the one of secretly leading and revealing themselves as the organization's true leader" doesn't mean anything and isn't English.
"There is a misconception that 'Ausf. Achse' is a misspelling of 'Ausf. Achse'" doesn't make sense, and really the whole bit should probably go since it's uncited.
BK being a revision of Shisei Ichigou is in the plot section for no reason. The Games/AA section is one difficult-to-read block made of separate bits. The characters section is enormous.
The article overall can have its English improved and its structure and flow smoothed out, and I'm just trying to help do that. I think some of the inclusions aren't that important to wikipedia and make it clumsier. BardDrive (talk) 05:51, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not an admin or moderator around here, but can I explain some stuff to know about:
  • 1. It seems you didn't support the crowdfunding of EN-Eins Anastasis (the game's expansion update) from last year, sometimes we get the secret information from the creator and some people are fine with it.
    2. That one is supposedly apart of (vanilla) EN-Eins story plot (and it's possible unofficial translation) that can easily be found on Mizuumi or a Fandom wiki.
    3. It seems that you haven't got any experience in German language as "Ausf" is likely still counts as a German word under the name, "Ausfuhrung" for short.
    4. For some reason, it would be confusing, considering Shisei Ichigō is beta version Blitzkampf.
  • You should ask people who had more about this series and Subtle Style's history than I do like these people like Mibeador, Vance, Element or anyone else either on Twitter or Discord.
