[edit]I tried earlier to provide links to this article since it's about me, but after communicating with someone on my wikipedia talk page, she recommended that if I wanted to have something changed/added, I should make the request here on "Talk:B. J. Oropeza." Since apparently, I'm unable to do this myself due to a "conflict of interest," I am requesting if I could provide the ISBN numbers on this talk page for each of my books listed. This way, an editor can go ahead and add them easily, if that's permissible. Savethecheerleader1 (talk) 02:18, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

[edit]I think that would be ok for you to provide those in the article, since not listing the ISBN's when one exists for a publication would be simply you correcting an error, which aligns with WP:COIU. The formatting for any entries that you list should be standardized. Taking as an example the first item in the list, an ideal way to format this with each bullet point would be the following:
- Das, A. Andrew; Oropeza, B. J., eds. (2023). Scripture, texts, and tracings in Galatians and 1 Thessalonians. Lexington Books/Fortress Academic. ISBN 9781978716056. OCLC 1390189973.
The |oclc=
number can also be added, but as long as |isbn=
is included, the oclc need not be. Oropeza was listed as one of two editors in the publication above. That should be reflected in the heading it falls under, as shown below:

When several appear in a row, it would be a good idea to mask the subject's name by using |author-mask=1
which places an em-dash where the name would appear. Entries which don't have either isbn or oclc's should be deleted. The only entries that should be included are the ones where the entire book applies, so only chapters in a book that were authored or edited can be deleted. For any other edits, you should use {{Edit COI}}
here on the talk page to request an impartial editor to evaluate and make any requested changes for you. Regards, Spintendo 04:24, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
