Fair use rationale for Image:Brunei DS FA.gif

[edit]

Image:Brunei DS FA.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any new updates

[edit]

Are there any new updates about Brunei football associated???

Most caps: Azwan S. or Pg Sallehuddin?

[edit]

Reason I put Azwan Saleh as having most caps is that he has 14 confirmed caps, and 4 most likely caps in AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 qualifying as he was a regular for DPMM FC that played as Brunei at that time in that tournament.

But if we could trace the career of Pengiran Sallehuddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit, he has 17 caps if you count to all the way back to '99 SEA Games in Brunei. His international career may stretch before that, yet no records are available to show for it, and FIFA does recognise Tiger Cup and SEA Games matches as 'A' internationals for the preceding years.

Hence, theoretically, the most capped player should be Pg. Sallehuddin, if we can prove that he has played at least two matches for Brunei before '99. 202.93.217.182 (talk) 07:56, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also gave 4 most likely caps to Pengiran at the '08 Suzuki Cup quals, because he was also a DPMM regular in '08. 202.93.217.182 (talk) 01:42, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Wong is interim coach, but as were others

[edit]

Okay okay I put my hand up, Mike Wong is actually interim coach as he is actually the Technical Director. But then again the two reigns of Ali Mustafa followed by Simunic and Kean would also be termed likewise, as they were coaching club sides in the period that they coached Brunei. So I don't think we should put that distinction here. 202.93.217.182 (talk) 01:27, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update on the issue: now that the list differentiates this fact, I will be reflecting this on past appointments too. かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 05:48, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
