Is Chinese dance not a distinct thing?

[edit]

I'm not optimistic that I will get a response, but I wonder if anyone familiar with this page can explain why it doesn't seem to exist. Chinese dance does not seem to me an ambiguous term. There are a plethora of dances from China, including numerous folk dances, lion and dragon dances and the like. But as I understand it, Chinese dance is also quite a comprehensive and distinct art form in and of itself. I lack expertise in this field, but I'm considering delving into this; it seems a terrible shame that there is so little here on the topic.Homunculus (duihua) 07:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The second of the external links, the original website has no information displayed. I changed the link to an article on national dance culture published by the Chinese government. GAOPEIYUN (talk) 08:04, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Chinese spelling for Zhong Kui “とべがね馗” could be wrong

[edit]

It seems that “とべ鍾馗しょうき” (鍾 instead of かね) is the correct spelling. At least English and Chinese Wikipedia use 鍾 in the article for Zhong Kui.

Unfortunately I don’t have any reliable reference about Zhong Kui, so I just leave a comment here. UsagiNeko (talk) 19:12, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
