Donelson Pike is not the name for Highway 70 through that part of Davidson County. Highway 70 is known as Lebanon Pike there. Donelson Pike as a completely different road that intersects with Lebanon Pike. the preceding comment is by 70.88.1.201 - 18:59, 4 April 2006: Please sign your posts!

I've made the correction, assuming that Donelson Bowl is indeed the one inside Donelson Plaza along Lebanon Pike. There is, or used to be, a bowling alley on Donelson Pike, though its name escapes me. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unincorporated?

[edit]

Is Donelson actually an unincorporated area? I figure this used to be the case, but now that Nashville and Davidson County are politically the same, wouldn't this officially make it part of Nashville? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to the U.S. Postal service, Donelson - 37214, is considered Nashville and to not use Donelson when sending mail to that ZIP code. This being the case, I believe it would be considered part of Nashville now. 70.88.1.201 20:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are two bowling alleys in the Donelson area. Donelson Plaza Bowling Center is located in Donelson Plaza off of Lebanon Pike, and the other is Donelson Bowling Center at 117 Donelson Pike. You could almost toss a rock from one to the other, as they are that close to each other. 70.88.1.201 20:43, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
