Eating animals having more legs is thought to be worse.

"they pace Montaigne"?[edit]

Makes no sense at all. The quote is taken from an obscure paper by Justin Leiber in 1988 [1]. I doubt the user that originally added this paper read the paper, they may have copied it from Daniel Dennett who probably got the quote wrong [2]. If you search online for this quote, the only hits you get are from Daniel Dennett who has put the quote in many of his publications. It is a cherry-picked quote missing various bits of text. I would be interested in knowing what Leiber really said. Unfortunately I don't have access to his 1988 paper. It's might be worth asking someone that has access to it so we can fact check the source. Psychologist Guy (talk) 18:25, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
