DrGvago: Potential COI

[edit]

Please apply this broadly. I have relationships with a number of individuals both personally and professionally in Exuma, or people who provide services to Exuma from the US. I have some experience about residing there and knowledge about the community. I will endeavor to be as unbiased and edit with NPOV as possible. My only motivation is improving the information of the article in regard to something I am somewhat knowledgeable about. Please feel free to message me on this talk page or my personal talk page if you feel something is inappropriate. I do not have any relationships with the tourism bureau or the Bahamian government beyond what any other normal individual visiting or residing there may have. Any references I add that may have specific COI will be disclosed in edit comments. I welcome any communication about my contributions on this talk page or my own. Swimming pigs

[edit]

Surprised this isn't already mentioned as it's one of the most famous thing about the islands to outsiders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgKw1bXfqE 2A00:23C6:ABDB:E901:5D15:5399:F23A:4262 (talk) 13:55, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the new section created called "Swimming pigs" in Wikipedia's recent changes and had to see what it was about!
The video shows pigs swimming near the shore in a tropical paradise and mentions that their origin is unknown.
To add this to Wikipedia we need reliable sources. I am thinking newspaper articles about the phenomenon, maybe they exist I haven't checked. A YouTube video isn't considered reliable I'm afraid. Commander Keane (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
