'Controversial'

[edit]

The lede is a summary of the page. 'Controversial' appears, with RS, in the second sentence. It doesn't need to also be repeated a few words earlier in lede first sentence. MOS:LEAD If editors believe Femen's 'controversy' is equal to other statements in first lede sentence then they should make their arguments on the Talk Page & seek consensus. Meaning of "femen" ?

[edit]

What is the meaning of the word (or abbreviation ?) "femen" ?

Is it the german word feme ?

Thanks

Eventually, after several months, I found the answer in the French Wikipedia :
"Pour le nom de leur mouvement, elles choisissent le mot latin « femen », qui ne signifie pas « femme » comme on pourrait le croire, mais seulement « cuisse »12, car « cela sonnait bien »13. "

Picture Error

[edit]

There is an image of “Demonstration in front of the Russian embassy in Kyiv in May 2010” in organization segment. When someone clicks it jumps to femen symbol instead of opening the photograph. It is needed to be fixed however I do not have enough knowledge to do F Koksoy (talk) 00:24, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
