Why does diesel mechanic redirect here?

[edit]

I mean maybe some diesel mechanics have dogs, and those dogs are similar to foxes, but I think the redirect system is broken. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Diesel_mechanic&redirect=no — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.7.135.66 (talk) 02:57, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Even though I haven't visited one, they look cute. - Anonymous guest 24.35.163.179 (talk) 00:27, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The talk section is for helping to improve pages, not to express your thoughts on them. 88.107.231.157 (talk) 18:53, 30 December 2021 (UTC) FoxGalah[reply]

Does this section describe the timing worldwide or just the northern hemisphere? 116.251.32.210 (talk) 23:30, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Darwin’s fox conservation status

[edit]

On this article it says that Darwin’s foxes are considered critically endangered, but on the IUCN Red List website it says that they are endangered https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/41586/107263066 should it be changed on here? Chickensarecool33 (talk) 01:46, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It used to be critically endangered (in the 2004 and 2008 assessments), but was downgraded to endangered in 2016. I've updated the article. —  Jts1882 | talk  11:33, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Attack mention relevance

[edit]

> In 2018, a Clapham fox bit a woman on the arm after she had left the door to her flat open.

This one sentence seems irrelevant to the main article. One source being an interview of a woman who happened to be bitten doesn’t teach about the general behaviour of the species.

Since it’s only a single sentence without context, I suggest removing the whole Attack header altogether, unless it gets replaced by actual study material about the attack behaviour of foxes towards humans. Jasperiscool (talk) 12:10, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
