Belovezh?

[edit]

Is there a town called Belovezh in Belarus? There's a famous forest with a similar name, but i couldn't find a town by that name. --Amir E. Aharoni 16:03, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Polish it is called Białowieża. In fact it is not a town but a large village. 2A02:A315:623C:5F00:9C3:3F0B:AEC0:B3AF (talk) 20:01, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gavril IlizarovGavriil Ilizarov – Procedural nom. Move was requested as a G6 by Zloyvolsheb (talk · contribs) but I removed that tag as the links on the article use both spellings. G6 rationalle was "This redirect should be the title of the article. The correct spelling of the first name is "Gavriil", two "i"s. Gavril Ilizarov cannot right now be moved because this redirects there." Dpmuk (talk) 00:58, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Family

[edit]

The whole BLP section is currently unsourced. The section material is primarily about living private people - Gavriil's children. It is a very bad situation, we do not have any means to validate the info. If it is planted by tricksters or if we inadvertently reveal private info we can hurt real living people. I do not see any direct negative info in the section so I let it live for a few days but PLEASE find sources for the section otherwise the section must be blanked. The spelling of his first name?

[edit]

Is it "Gavriil" or "Gavril"?
