Problematic edits by User:Trapper3205

[edit]

I have finally had the time to review those 2014 edits and I am not impressed. Referenced content has been removed and replaced by unreferenced one. Given that those edits, I repeat, removed referenced sentences (ex. "In 1952 ISA begun publishing an academic journal, Current Sociology.") and add unreferenced content, I am restoring the original version of this page. If User:Trapper3205 or anyone else would like to revert me in turn, please explain things here, per WP:BRD. (PS. I will incorporate other editors changes after the revert) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:28, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NPOV and WP:PROMO - non-neutral puffery

[edit]

Bloated subjective fluff such as "a useful organizational platform and a supportive community for sharing relevant information" should not be inserted to promote the organizations in question. I have added a - hopefully acceptable - succinct neutral replacement. Editors with a "conflict of interest" should usually not edit such articles to begin with, and need to disclose their connection with the topic (see WP:COI for more information).
