Requested move
[edit]This page needs to be moved to Interstate 270 (Illinois-Missouri) to conform to the Interstate WP. --Rschen7754 18:24, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
More History Please!
[edit]The Missouri Department of Transportation has an archive or past state historic maps showing the history of I-270 and it's evolution. There are also historical maps indicating that the layout of St. Louis County influenced how I-270 was built. But important parts are missing from history like its time as Missouri State Route 77 and as a U.S. Route 66 bypass. --Bushido Hacks (talk) 02:06, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

Interstate 270 (Illinois–Missouri) → Interstate 270 (Missouri–Illinois) – Westernmost state needs to be listed first, per WP:IH. Greggens (talk) 20:35, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
- I wholeheartedly agree that this page should be moved, but a redirect should still exist at the old name. This proposal should be listed on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. Roads. Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 02:25, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support. This is a non-controversial application of a non-controversial WikiProject guideline (WP:IH § Naming conventions: "If the Interstate enters more than two states, then list all states in the name, beginning with the western/southernmost state. "). — AjaxSmack 13:10, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
