Additions / Reversions
[edit]Hi @Rehsarb@Viewmont Viking - @ExoField is a new editor and has been trying to improve the article in good faith. Here's a number of indpendent sources which contain information about KMC which might be used to improve the artice:
- CM announces upgrading KMC, AMC to medical universities The News (2023)
- THE KHYBER MEDICAL COLLEGE MEDICAL EDUCATION IN WEST PAKISTAN The Lancet (1965)
- Teacher thrashes' girl after argument on veil' Dawn (2013)
- Audit report finds holes in Khyber Medical College's financial records The Express Tribune (2019)
There's more I'm sure, but this is what I've found in a quick five minute search in Google. I'd suggest discussing the kind of information to be added here first so a consensus can be reached. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 07:57, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Point number one hasn't happened yet, will happen in 2-3 months probably.
- Can't access 2
- 3 and 4 can be listed under "controversies"? ExoField (talk) 08:09, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Also how do I add a PDF file as a reference ExoField (talk) 08:09, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- talking about this: https://appna.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/kmc-report-summer-2017.pdf
- Is this good enough to add KMCAANA back? ExoField (talk) 08:11, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @ExoField - It's ok to add that the college will become a university, the reliable source indicates this. In order to access The Lancet you can use the WP:Wikipedia Library. If you use a PDF as a source, you just add the URL link to the PDF, however, that PDF is not an independent source, it is report from the Association itself. Here's four sources that mention the Alumni Association, which might be used for the article:
- Dr Arshad Rehan becomes APPNA president-elect
- Alumni doctors help train ICU staff at LRH
- John Hopkins Offers To Bear Child Activist Malala's Medical Expenses - this one is very interesting as it suggests the Association facilitated Malala's medical care in the US.
- Imran asks KP govt to focus on tribal districts
- Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 08:42, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you ExoField (talk) 08:49, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
